Wayamba Elevens is a Sri Lankan first class cricket team based in Kurunegala, that represents North Western Province. Welagedara Stadium is the home ground for Wayamba Elevens which has a capacity of 10,000. Jehan Mubarak is the current captain of the team and the team is coached by Manoj Abeywickrama and Lanka de Silva

Champions League Twenty20 2009

Wayamba Elevens won the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 and qualified to play in the Champions League Twenty20 tournament. In the two matches they played in the tournament, they won one and lost the other and failed to qualify to the Super Eights stage due to poor net run rate. In the first match of the tournament, Wayamba lost to Delhi Daredevils by 50 runs. In the second match, they needed to beat Victorian Bushrangers by a huge margin to qualify to the next stage on net run rate. They managed to beat Victoria but only by 15 runs and didn't qualify to the next stage.
