Abdul Razzaq played an all rounder innings to help Pakistan win the second Twenty20 and draw the series 1-1. Winning the toss, Shoaib Malik chose to field first. England scored 148 for the loss of six wickets in their twenty overs. Kevin Pietersen scored a superb 62(40) and was given support by Jonathan Trott who scored 39(51). Chasing 149 to win, Pakistan found themselves in trouble when they are down five wickets for 78 runs at end of 13 overs. However, Abdul Razzaq scored an unbeaten 46 in just 18 balls to win the match by 4 wickets with an over to spare.
