England beat Pakistan in the first Twenty20 International of the two match series against Pakistan in Dubai. Batting first, Pakistan could make only 129/8 in their allotted twenty overs. Chasing 130, England found themselves in a spot of bother having lost three wickets for 18 runs. But a record partnership between Kevin Pietersen and Eoin Morgan helped England reach the target in 18.3 overs.
