Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by 22 runs to become the Indian Premier League 2010 Champions. Winning the toss, MS Dhoni chose to bat first. They started off slowly scoring just 58 runs from the first 10 overs. Then Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni started playing aggressive and Raina capitalised the two lifers he was given and scored a brilliant unbeaten 57*(35). Chennai Super Kings scored a competitive 168/5 from their twenty overs. In reply, Mumbai Indians fell short by 22 runs. Suresh Raina is the Man of the Match and Sachin Tendulkar is the Man of the Series.
