Delhi Daredevils appoints Eric Simons as Asst. Coach

Eric Simons has been appointed as the assistant coach for the Delhi Daredevils team. Simons has assisted India for the home series against South Africa. Speaking about the appointment, Chief Operating Officer of the Delhi Daredevils Amrit Mathur said "He is a very valuable resource, and has a lot to offer to our performance,". Simons has earlier served as the head coach for South Africa during the 2002-2004 period. He also worked at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria and as a consultant with Ray Jennings for the Royal Challengers team last year at the Indian Premier League.
