Mumbai Indians failed to grab a spot in the top four as they lost to
Deccan Chargers by 19 runs.
Rohit Sharma grabbed the match away from Mumbai Indians by claiming a hat-trick when Mumbai Indians are cruising along to the target. Batting first on a hard, dry surface Deccan Chargers lost the wickets of Gibbs in the second over.
Adam Gilchrist and Rohit Sharma kept the scoreboard ticking for a while before Gilchrist was bowled by Raje. Mumbai took wickets at regular intervals and Deccan Chargers scored 145 runs in their alloted twenty overs. Deccan Chargers got the ideal start in the second innings of the match when
