Deccan Chargers beat Rajasthan Royals

Deccan Chargers dropped two under-performing overseas players and their replacements - Dwayne Smith and Chaminda Vaas won the game for them. Batting first Deccan Chargers managed to score 166 runs in their alloted 20 overs. Rajasthan Royals are in the game till the first 15 overs of Deccan Chargers innings, but Smith walked in and smashed four sixes. In reply, Rajasthan Royals couldn't perform as expected and with the wicket of Yusuf Pathan its over for the Royals. Chaminda Vaas started off well in his first match of the IPL 2009 season taking two wickets and part time spinner Rohit Sharma grabbed three wickets to win the match by 53 runs. This is the biggest margin of victory for the Deccan Chargers team in terms of runs.
