Australia defeats West Indies by 6 wickets

Australia defeated West Indies by 6 wickets to end the West Indies hopes of a semifinal. Winning the toss, West Indies chose to bat first. The decision soon backfired as Dirk Nannes got rid of the West Indies captain Chris Gayle off the second ball of the over. West Indies were all out for just 105 runs on the board. In reply, Australians reached the target in the 17th over. They will next play Pakistan in the second Semifinal.
