Sri Lanka defeated India by 5 wickets to make it to the semifinals of the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 2010. India won the toss and Dhoni chose to bat first. They started off really well scoring 90 runs for the lost of just one wicket in the first ten overs. However, the Sri Lankan bowlers came back well to restrict India to 163/5 in their twenty overs. In reply, Chamara Kapugedera hit a six off the final ball of the match.
