He along with Mark Vermeulen added 121 runs for the first wicket in 25 overs. In the end Brendan Taylor scored a quick 44* from 27 balls to lift the team's total to 313. Nehemiah Odhiambo of Kenya picked up 2 wickets for 45 runs in his 10 overs.
