Sri Lanka beat 
South Africa by 55 runs in the first match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2009. Winning the toss, Graeme Smith chose to bat first. Sri Lanka made 319 in their fifty overs, thanks to a brililant century by Tillakaratne Dilshan. In reply, South Africa were 206/7 in 37.4 overs when rain interrupted and the play has been called out. Sri Lanka is declared the winner by Duckworth Lewis method.
