Australia defeats West Indies by 50 runs - 2009 ICC Champions Trophy

Australia defeated West Indies is their first match of ICC Champions Trophy 2009 against at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. West Indies won the toss and chose to field first. Australia scored 275/8 in their alloted fifty overs. Skipper Ricky Ponting made 79 and Mitchell Johnson scored an unbeaten 73* in 47 balls.
