Trinidad & Tobago beat Diamond Eagles by 24 runs to advance to the semis

Trinidad & Tobago advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League Twenty20 2009 defeating Diamond Eagles by 24 runs. Winning the toss and batting first, Trinidad & Tobago scored a massive 213/4 in their 20 overs. Adrian Barath scored 63 in just 41 balls and a quick 33* from 11 balls in the end by Navin Stewart helped Trinidad & Tobago post the highest score in the tournament. In reply, Diamond Eagles managed to score 189/5 from 20 overs. Rilee Rossouw scored 44 from 19 balls.
