Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Otago Volts in the Group C match of the Champions League Twenty20 2009. They have qualified for the Super Eights from Group C along with Cape Cobras. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to bat first. Jacques Kallis and Robin Uthappa started off really well and scored 75 for the first wicket from 9.5 overs. Uthappa departed for 41(31). Virat Kohli who came at one down scored a quick 32 from 19 balls. In the end, Ross Taylor scored 32* in just 11 balls. 25 runs have been scored in the last over. In reply, Otago Volts are all out for 108 runs. Jacques Kallis picked up the first three wickets and finished with 3/18 from 4 overs.
