Cape Cobras beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in the inaugural match of the Champions League Twenty20 2009. A brililant unbeaten 99 from Jean-Paul Duminy won the match for Cape Cobras in a high scoring match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and chose to bat first in the inaugural match of the Champions League Twenty20 2009. Robin Uthappa gave Bangalore a good start. Rahul Dravid joined Uthappa after Jacques Kallis departed for 8 runs with 14 runs on the board.
