New South Wales Blues defeats Sussex Sharks in the Group D match of the Champions League Twenty20 2009 and have qualified for the next stage. New South Wales won the toss and chose to bat first. They managed to score 130/2 in their 20 overs on a difficult pitch. Phillip Hughes scored an unbeaten 62* from 64 balls. Moises Henriques scored a quick 51* from 33 balls.
